It pains me a little to have each book end but I do so enjoy reading about previous couples in each new book...even though it tends to be just little snippets.Chris' acceptance of Kegan was quick (what did you except from a 50+ page book?) but expected. He had a "knowing" sense and knew Kegan was someone special. And despite some misunderstandings, nothing could keep them apart.My favorite part of this book was when Chris tried to halt their bonding/love but Kegan wasn't having any of that. He refused to let a misunderstanding stand in their way and let it linger and fester. That's the kind of MC's I love. Decisive and strong.In any other book, we would've had to wait several hundred pages before there would be a resolution. Not for B.A. Stretke though! Praise Jesus!On to the next one! Most of the conversations seemed forced. Chris is mentally a 10 year old, so the sex scenes were disturbing. And it was anticlimactic. I really want this writer to be good but they continuously disappoint me. All these stories should be woven into one book with a lot of flushing out. None of these stories have been worth more than fifty cents. And I feel that's being generous.
