I have been waiting for Dixie’s HEA forever, and I was happy to finally read it. I knew that the guy who won her would have to be a rough and tumble biker.I have to say that it was disappointing. I thought that Jace was kind of a jerk who hemmed and hawed around, acting like he didn’t care for way too long. And Dixie suddenly turned into a weakling woman who cried and threw temper tantrums at friends and family. I was really looking forward to this Dixie's book and Dixie herself didn't disappoint, although her "don't bend for no man" and Jace's "can't tie me down" attitudes got a little repetitive. The main disappointment was having Jace's many relatives and their back stories constantly shoved in my face - I felt like I had missed a book, or an entire series, but I think the author is just setting up for her spin off series which is all well and good but it took away from the main characters too much. The plot was solid but got a bit lost with all the relatives popping up all the time.The hands down best books in this series are still Truman's, Bear's and Bullet's, and of those books, Truman's with his connecting with his brother and sister and beautiful backstory remains head and shoulders above the rest. I hope some of the magic comes back with Quincy's book.
